About

We listen, act, and transform

I love working with individuals who want to connect with their own inherent wisdom and grace while creating more room to experience greater joy and happiness. This might be an adolescent or adult who is struggling with depression, anxiety, shame, trauma, self-doubt, or feelings of inadequacy and dissatisfaction. It might also be a person who has experienced a significant life event such as divorce, loss of a loved one, or an illness. Sometimes clients simply need support managing the intense pressures of work or school. By working to peel back the layers of old patterns, wounds, and ways of being in the world, clients are able to develop a stronger sense of self and choose behaviors that are in alignment with their own inner purpose, strength, and wisdom. By helping to heal the old wounds, there is more space to experience joy and contentment while also discovering what matters the most to each person. Therapy can take a number of forms, whether it’s traditional talk therapy, going for a walk, doing an art project, or using a different modality. I use a number of modalities, such as Brainspotting, DBT, and Internal Family Systems, to help build resiliency and shift core beliefs from "I'm not enough" to "I'm capable of finding love and belonging." As a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner, this is one of the primary modes that I use to help facilitate the healing process. Learn more about Brainspotting at www.brainspotting.org. As a therapist, my hope is to provide a space for clients to discover their own inherent wisdom and grace. I find this work to be more of a calling than a job. Bearing witness to the courage of others to dig deep is inspiring. It is an honor to be trusted with clients' vulnerability and courage to look at themselves and do the hard work of creating change. Becoming a therapist led me back to Montana, where I grew up, and I'm grateful to be home. When I'm not meeting with clients, I can be found enjoying the company of my dog, delving into creative activities, engaging in spiritual practice, enjoying the natural world, or spending time with friends and family.
